I went in the bedroom to nurse the baby around 7pm, while Cotton and BJ watched the Mavs game.
I guess it was after 10 when Cotton came in and told me BJ had left and the big kids were asleep.
That was NIIICE! Sam has been nursing all night for the past 2 nights, which means neither of us has slept much.
So now, instead of cleaning and preparing for Jacob's party tomorrow- I am playing on the computer.
And lest anyone think about getting their feelings hurt- it is a FAMILY party. ALL family. Which is nice. 100% people that adore him, and want to spoil him and treat him like the most special boy on Earth.
And I am excited that every last one of my nieces (even the one that's still cooking!), and my one and only nephew will ALL be here! YAY!
Talk about a great picture post coming up! I will be completely flooded with cuteness tomorrow night!
So... yea... the results are in today! At least 75% in. lol.
I get to go buy PINK baby clothes! Aunt G is cooking a little girl in her tummy! Victoria Brianne. I love it. Victoria is just a beautiful name, and of course I favor the classics, and Brianne is for her daddy- Brian. Cute!
I've already dug through what was left of Lucy's baby stuff, and pulled out everything that I could to pass on to Miss Victoria (which is a long name to type- she needs a nickname soon, mommy!). I held on to just a few things, maybe half a dozen outfits that induced SOBS when I tried to put them in the give away bag.
There are a few things in the attic- but considering the fact that she won't be born until September, I think it's safe to wait until the next visit to dig the rest out. :-P
Don't ask me why I'm so ecstatic over a niece, when I have 4 of them already. Lol. And only one little nephew- who happens to be the same size as Sam.
I don't get to shop for any of them! I have my own big girl, big boy, and baby boy to spoil! And Abs and Kelsie get most of Lucy's clothes as soon as she outgrows them- so I basically DO shop for them. Lol.
But every time I am buying Sam clothes, I see adorable little pink and frillies- and think "awwww... I need a girl baby, too!"
Geri wiggled her nose (and her ass, apparently) and is granting my wish! YAY!
So, topic change...
Guess where Lucy and I had lunch today?
You won't believe it!
Chuck E Cheese's! Seriously!
And she had a blast. She even kept asking me where the big Chucky was, because "I'm not scared of him anymore."
:sniff: I knew she was growing up, but darn if that didn't REALLY prove it.
Okay- I'm hungry, and I hear the baby stirring. He'll be screaming for his milkies if I don't get to him in a timely fashion. Big boy has gotta eat! ;-)
