HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!

The poor guy is working ALL day long today. He won't be home until after 10 tonight. :o(
The kids and I are going to bake him a cake and have a little something for him. He was supposed to pick out his own gift this year: boat seats or a tackle box. (I would get the wrong one either way)
Only now he has decided he wants a camera, and I should go pick it out. Whichever one is exactly what *I* want. Of course- I probbly won't go get a camera. I could be spending that money on something less, ummm.. for ME! But I love my man. I am still getting him something- something he's been wanting. I can't say what it is, because he could be reading!

So I forgot my password for a little while, and was too lazy to reset it.
So what is new in the circus, you ask?

We actually played a couple of soccer games. My little Munchkins were amazing! Not that we keep score or anything, BUT we WON 2 in a row! Woohoo!
Jacob played his heart out on Saturday. On Sunday we were having some issues. For those of you that don't know him well, he is incredibly sensitive, and perceptive to his surroundings. He was having a difficult time on sunday with all of the parents "screaming," it was "making him sad." I think he was tired, had too busy of a weekend, and just couldn't handle the stimulation. he sat out for the 2nd and 3rd quarter, and rallied at the end of the 4th. He went back in for a whole 90 seconds!

Please don't think I am anything less than thrilled. I seriously dount that sports will be Jacob's "thing." I do, however, want him to learn to play on a team, and be active, etc... and I think soccer is very healthy for him. Any effort he gives, which very much 9includes getting out there despite having a bad day, makes me beam with pride!

Last Friday we went down to Old Grapevine to "ride the big Thomas" again.
It wasn't as great as last year, but the kids were still pretty enthused!

To be fair, she really wasn't scared of it, until I pushed her justalittlecloser, and backed up to snap a picture. However, I laughed then, and I am laughing harder now! It is just so FUNNY!

February 2006-
Jacob is almost 4, not so tiny, but still adorable. Hubby looks a little thinner, and handsome as always. The shark has lost some paint off of his nose.

My only complaint is that I painted her toenails for these barefoot pics, and her toes don't show. :o(

Not so crazy about this one. Note the red face, her birthmarks are glowing, her nose is running, and her hair couldn't be any messier! You can even see a tear below one of her little eyes. :o(
BUT that's a picture of MY BABY, so it's still cute!
