He wasn't feeling 100%, but he wanted to play. Yay!
And he ALMOST got a goal. Maybe next week. While he needs to #1 get healthy, and #2 get some good practice in- I was impressed that the kiddo really rememebered his basics. He kept the ball in bounds, knew which goal to go towards... you could tell he's done this before. :-)
But most importantly of all- he looked DARN CUTE out there, and he had FUN!
He actually watched the entire time that he wasn't on the field, cheered for his teammates, and you can tell he is getting the concept of TEAM!
