First FAMILY fishing trip!

FINALLY!
Cotton wasn't working, the weather was semi-nice, and we were all together!

This guy is an old pro by now! He's been fishing since he could walk!

We didn't catch any worth keeping- so we had soup and sandwiches for dinner. Maybe next time...

But we've been waiting a long time to be able to fish as a family, and Lucy has been asking to go fishing for MONTHS- so this was definitely a very special day!

The first trip of many!

Jack-Jack

Meet Jack-Jack. A sweet little mini pin, that Cotton knew would wiggle his way into my heart!
I can't resist a baby- be it 2 legged or 4... and this guy is about as irresistable as they come.

He's snug as a bug with his minky-blanket (handmade by his new momma). You can see some toes in the background- they belong to me. Lol. He is always on my lap, or not far from it!

girly stuff

Miss Thang got her first Bath and Body Works stuff today.
She has been asking for a squirt of my body spray lately, and honestly, I want her to smell like a little girl. Not like me.
So she is now the proud owner of a strawberry lotion and body spray set. They have a really cute line for little girlies there! We may be addicted!

I also got some new spray-detangler for her curls. It smells like vanilla... yummmm... If I like it, I'll go back and get the shampoo and stuff for her.

And mommy got a new spring tote for FREE! Woohoo!

weigh in: weeks 6 and 7

combined- I've lost 1 pound. (13lbs total so far)
I am so over this dieting stuff. Yuck.

I am not giving up, though.
In fact- I *plan* to kick it back into high gear.

I am such a darn emotional eater. And I've been having a rough week... so I have been eating like crap.

But I'm about to get back on track! I mean it!

Happy 5th, Butt Head!

Today I've been married to my best friend for 5 years!















5 down, 95 to go...!

Oops- Weigh ins 4 & 5

Week 4 I lost 5 lbs! Woohoo
Week 5 I lost 1 lb. Wee... lol. Better than nothing, right?

So I am down a total of 12 lbs in 5 weeks. Tomorrow is the week 6 weigh in. I'll try to rememeber to post!
Results will be *something* but not huge. :-)

Spring has Sprung

Isn't it just Gorgeous! (yes, with a capital G!) Time for a PARK DAY!!!
And of course, it's always time for pictures!

Can you read her shirt? It says "nacho baby" I can't tell you how many comments we got on that! Practically every person we passed said "Nacho baby!" and laughed! Heehee!

(I bought that with Papoo in mind- it's right up his alley!)

Jacob, on the way home from school a few days ago informed me of a couple of things.

1. He will find a girl to marry, but he will still love me.
2. He will "find a way" to get a house close to my house when he grows up, so that we won't miss each other.

What more could a mother ask for?

Lucy says

"Momma, you got big baboobies (points at said baboobies) and I got baby baboobies."

Yes, this is true. Thanks for noticing.

Oh, and when I asked if Daddy has big or baby boobies, she answered "No, momma. Daddy got a BIG belly!" Heeheehee.

Jacob says

"P'sketti-Oh's and meatballs make a party in your tummy."

So he's eating some for dinner. Party on, tummy!

My beautiful daughter and her precious friends.
I feel so lucky for her to have friends so early in life, and to have had them since birth. The love she has for these girls is amazing. When we were planning a birthday party, she knew just who needed to be there "Ashyn, Peeton, and Abby."
What a wonderful gift!
I could post a hundred pictures EACH of these little angels... over the last 3 years Lord knows we've taken enough.
I am just amazed at how much they have grown, and how special and unique each of them has become.
So... as they are all turning 3- I just wanted to say I love you all, little princesses!
I would say I can't wait to see what you all grow up to be- but that's just not true. Stay little and innocent and perfect just as long as you can, babies!

First the CEC/Best friends party, looking a little nervous.



That dang mouse scared the hell out of my baby! She was crying and BEGGING to go home for half of the party.

Stupid me didn't take many pictures at CEC at all, once everyone got there and the fun began. :-( I'm hoping Ashlyn and Payton's mommies got something to share with me- I didn't get any pics of Ashlyn, P, or Baby K at all!
Nor did I get any pictures of her lunch party at Grandma's... you'll have to trust me that she had fun.

Then these are from the home/ Daddy's side party. She wanted to wear her Care Bear dress again- YAY! She never likes any of the clothes I make her.

And so it's done...

She fell asleep in my arms last night, and I didn't want to put her down. How many more times will I get to snuggle her to sleep? Even if it's 100, it's not nearly enough.
Lucky for me- she seems to be dragging her feet on this "big girl" stuff. She'd much rather be mommy's little baby for now- and that is FINE with me!

Just what you *don't* want to hear

except that it couldn't be any cuter, or funnier!

Lucy was on the phone with Cotton today, and she said "Thanks, Daddy" like 3 times.
I got the phone back, and asked what he kept telling her.
He was saying "I love you, Lucy." to which she replied "Thanks" every time.

So- I had to try it. Of course.

"I love you Baby Girl."
"Thanks, Momma."

So every half hour or so for the entire evening, one of us would tell her we loved her. And she would thank us, every time. Lol.
So cute!

On a slightly more affectionate note- she did say "Best friend, Ashyn" while hugging on Ashlyn today. Aaaaawwwwww....
They are too cute for words.
I can't wait to see if *THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHER ON EARTH* got any good shots of their little kodak moment today. Man, they were adorable- beyond adorable- so cute that there isn't a word for it yet!

Weigh in, week 3

No change.

No loss, which I am kind of "meh" about. I'm not all that concerned, because this week I can chalk it up to "circumstances beyond my control." Lol.

No gain- so that's good.

I can still see and feel some real results. I put on my favorite pink tank top today, and there was considerably less pooch there.
My face and neck are really skinny... I can't even grab my "waddle" anymore. Lol.

I've been mostly good, could have been better, but oh well.
Brought home a treadmill this weekend, and I may actually get on it tonight. Maybe. ;-)

The biggest thing I need to work on is WATER. I was doing AWESOME for the first 2 weeks or so, but I have really dropped the water intake. Boo me.

Weigh in was yesterday morning, I'm down 1 pound since then. So YAY! That makes 6 official lbs gone. Plus one unofficial. Only 33 or so to go.
