Turner Falls... again!

We had so much fun on our first trip to Turner Falls, that the kids kept begging to go back again. So we did.

We'd had quite a bit of rain since the last trip, and that pathetic trickle of a "waterfall" had turned into THIS!
Isn't it just gorgeous?
The water just mesmerizing. I could watch it all day!



Punkin found a giant stick, and she carried it around for.ev.er.


Little man got down and did some exploring this time.
Daddy and Jacob played some football


then the other boy got in on the act


Jacob climbed, and stayed out of the reach of my camera for the most part.
Then we walked across the bridge to the beach and played in the sand...

And we all did some wading!


The water was so deliciously cold, we wanted to stay in it all day!
Sam LOVED it. He kept saying "bath, bath" and giggling maniacly.

And doesn't he look ALL BOY in this shot? Where oh where has my teeny babe gone? Where oh where can he be?

The kids were planning our next trip on the way home.
We promised to take them back to CAMP. And to visit Arbuckle Wilderness- which excites me and Cotton more than the kids, ha.
We offered to take them exploring at some other cool spots, but they are stuck on Turner Falls for now. And that is fine by us!
