Butterflies

Last week there was an extremely cool butterfly exhibit in Plano. Of course, we had to grab our friends and go! I was sure Lucy would LOVE the pretty butterflies!

Apparently- I have an innate talent for butterfly whispering. Either that, or I am so sweet that they flock to me!

And let me tell you- my little ham was EATING UP the compliments on her pretty face.
Anytime someone glanced her direction- she stuck that cheek right on out. At one point she even pointed at it because someone complimented Ashlyn's. Lol!

She couldn't wait to get to the school and show Miss McC, and we had to meet Daddy for dinner so that he could see her "make up" too!

**I had to resort to stealing these pictures off of another blog. I am hoping that at some point- the very talented photgrapher will find it in her heart to send me the full sized versions so that I can plan to print them one miraculous day**

A day at preschool!

Last week for Jacob's birthday, his preschool teacher invited me and Lucy to stay with them for the day! YAY!!!

This was such a fun day for all of us!
Jacob was so excited to have me stay at school with him. I was excited to hang out with him, and see what he does there.
Lucy has been dying to stay- so she was happy as a little clam.

Birthday fun!

Jacob's surprise party was a small affair.
Just the family, and a few very carefully selected friends.

Despite the fact that he's been enamored with the idea of surprise parties for a year- when we all yelled "SURPRISE!!!!" at him, he was really overwhelmed and started to cry. :-(
A few presents, and a peek at the cake later- he was in great spirits!

Overdue Easter pics
